I'm finally on top. Now I am constantly the center of attention. Even my vacations find me forcing a smile and a polite "Hello." Golf is no longer a game. I haven't been to a movie in I don't remember when. Charity work is not based on my desire to help others, but on my desire to help the company's image. After all I am the public face of my business.

I no longer have a personality. I am a Corporation.

This piece is a mix of short and long sentences. Between the two, I prefer the shorter sentences - they add punch to the piece and the narrator's attitude. I wonder what the piece would be like if they were all short: "Golf is no longer a game. Going to movies is in the past. Charity work is for PR." Something like that.
